"How He Loves"

He is jealous for me, Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realize just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me.

And oh, how He loves us oh
Oh how He loves us,
How He loves us all

He is jealous for me, Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realize just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me.

And oh, how He loves us oh,
Oh how He loves us,
How He loves us all

He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.

And we are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,
If his grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.
And heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss,
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest,
I don’t have time to maintain these regrets,
When I think about, the way…

That He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.
Yeah, He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.

Yeah, He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.

Re: Drowning in Grace

I had a feeling you might like that Amy Masters!

It's a great tune.

I've got nothing against Crowder. He seems to be a great guy that really loves Jesus. But he needs to swing his bus through Sumter, South Carolina and get himself a "Kelly Cut".

Re: Drowning in Grace

Dave,

Kelly (the Richardson brothers' barber growing up) would faint if Crowder came through the door!

Plus, it could just be that Crowder might be even uglier with short hair.

But, hey, what am I, a beaut? :-)

Re: Drowning in Grace

Hey Bro!
Heard the song a few months ago. Loved it. In the midst of persection from unregenerate church members who need to read your book, I instantly melted into tears at the line "when all of a sudden I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by Glory." His grace & mercy engulf me! God has worked mightily lately in my own outllook on life & ministry. Jesus certainly ministered in the midst of personal insults and controversy. I must not allow "others" to affect my worship. When they are not willing to show mercy, God is! Praise Him! I think i need hair like DC.
Love You Man and praying for you!
