Interesting.
I just noticed that Colien Duriez, in his 2008 Francis Schaeffer: An Authentic Life, referenced an article I posted at the old address entitled "Francis Schaeffer and the Pro-Life Movement" as a footnote on p.182 of his book. Which is to say that when you post old papers you wrote in seminary you should (1) try to make sure they're halfway decent (if possible) and (2) remember that people actually Google terms and read blogs. I do not claim to have achieved #1 and I do not claim to have realized #2 quite like I do now. :-)
So perhaps seminary professors could start saying, "Write this paper in such a way that you wouldn't be ashamed to have it pop up in a footnote in some book 11 years from now!"
