If school children had done this in regard to George Bush; it would have been on the national news. Obviously it should not occur at all. What ever happened to singing America the Beautiful and the pledge to the flag?

We learned the Battle Hymn of the Republic NOT a revisionist rewrite about democracy. Wonder how much time and effort was put into teaching the children the original score, what it was written about and who it was for. It was not for a Man but for a war torn republic. Really a sad commentary on what educators deem important now. Ideas have consequences and words mean something especially when put to music. Reminds me of ancient Rome and the common hero worship and the many man-gods they adored.

The worst part is when the take the words from "Jesus Loves the Little Children" and apply it to the President.
That's downright scary.
