I was touched a few months back to receive a letter from Mark Dever asking if I'd submit an article on church discipline for the September/October 9Marks eJournal. He asked if I would talk about what churches stand to gain if they practice church discipline and what they stand to lose if they do not. I note that the journal has just come out.
