I was stunned today when my wife called me and told me she had received a phone call from the son of our friends, Joe and Ann Ingram, informing her that Joe went home to be with the Lord today. He was killed in a tragic accident while working on a mission home, as I understand it. I simply cannot believe it.
Joe Ingram was one of the finest men I ever knew. A faithful deacon when I pastored Stonecrest Baptist Church in Woodstock, GA, Joe will forever stand in my mind as the epitome of a Christian gentleman. He was also, with his dear wife Ann, a faithful friend.
